Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapy (ABA)

Fabian House policies, procedures, and methods offer families a level of balance, stress relief and success that simply cannot be found anywhere else at this time. Our goal, as a teaching and learning schoolhouse, is to become a shared model to replicate success throughout the world.

Solving Problems

Fabian House is solving the most common problems Utah families face in regards to therapy for children with special needs or traumatic experiences. We are answering the cry for professional early childhood education, and quality child care for young children.

Utah's first "Best in World Practice" Integrated Preschool Program unites quality professional Early Childhood Education with ABA Therapy within an intentionally designed environment in which everyone on staff has or is finishing a degree in a child-related field. Families seeking an exceptional preschool for neurotypical children or children with autism will be wildly impressed.

Consistency

Children attending will have consistency with teachers, therapists, and classmates, all in the context of their classroom setting .

Fabian House lesson plans include science experiments, cooking projects, and gardening activities, as well as ABCs, 123s, children's literature, dramatic play, and art exploration.

Registered Behavioral Technicians work with children 2 years - 5th grade under the supervision of a degreed and talented Master of Special Education and Board Certified Behavioral Analysts. They provide Applied Behavioral Analysis Services in a quality Early Childhood Education environment that has the look and feel of home with educationally rich resources that foster quality early childhood experiences.

“One Stop Shop”

A “one stop shop” solution for parents and children.

The cost and time vested by parents to provide child care, preschool, and therapeutic services is not only high, but also difficult to maneuver, since deductibles and out of pocket variables change throughout the year. FH offers monthly tuition and ABA Patient Portion Payments Plans. FH is a proud recipient of the Carson Smith Scholarship, in which any child with an IEP can benefit from tuition or ABA cost relief in the amount of $875-$2,600 per quarter.

FH even provides quality parent education classes to ensure goal achievement methods are carried over into daily life and compound success.

ABA Enrollment

Time is of the essence when it comes to developing children. We strive to make the Enrollment Process as quick and easy as possible. Due to calendaring and insurance requirements, you can expect a minimum 5 week timeline, pending enrollment opportunities and potential wait-list. Your process in a nutshell looks like this:

  1. Touring with your child/children (We love to see them interact within our environment!)

  2. Turning in a Pre-Enrollment Application (You do.)

  3. Insurance Pre-Authorization (We do.)

  4. Intake Assessment & Consultation (We do together.)

  5. Treatment Plan Writing and Submission (We do.)

  6. Final Authorization from Insurance Provider (We do.)

  7. Entrance Interview and Final Enrollment Paperwork (We do together.)

  8. Start Date! :)

Process and Timeline

Step 1:

  • Reach out to get on our guest list for a tour and pick up a Pre-Enrollment Application Packet in person. We will go over exact processes in person, as well as in written form within the Pre-Enrollment Packet.

Step 2:

  • Hand deliver a complete Pre-Enrollment Application. At the time of submission, your Administrative Team will have a tentative timeline for potential enrollment opportunities, and getting on the calendar for an Intake Assessment and Consultation, etc.

Step 3:

  • Complete the Intake Process. The Intake Assessment is a play based assessment between your child and one of our amazing BCBAs. During this time, our Administrative Team will be able to review the financial aspect of attendance and services. We will meet with you as a Team, directly following to determine goals and next steps. If this is an excellent match, you will leave with final paperwork in hand and an appointment to complete your Enrollment Process.

Step 4:

  • Your child's BCBA will calendared to complete a comprehensive Treatment Plan to be submitted in a timely manner for your Insurance Provider's final approval for services (Final Authorization). The Treatment Plan is similar to a 20 page essay describing the services being provided for your Child and is required by your provider. Insurance Providers typically take 2 weeks to respond.

Step 5:

  • Join the Fabian House Family and stay forever! We provide quality services for Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten. Sometimes we have school age children receiving daytime ABA services. We also have an excellent after-school and summer program for children in K-5th grades. We can even explore the possibility of providing transportation from your local elementary school.

Fabian House is proud to be providing quality services to Select Health Clients as well as all other Major Carriers!
